                          HYPOTHETICAL  CIVILIZATIONS....

Civilization on Earth as we know more than thousands of years old.  Earth had faced tremendous changes. The existence of human species is 0.005% in a 13.7 billion years of universe age.  We came from a time of hunting and gathering from the woods of Africa to the colonizing entire planet which is just a blink of an eye compared to the age of the universe.  Humans had done outstanding work in technology for the last 200 years but can we count us the only advanced species in this universe. What if we meet aliens species whose technology more advanced then us. So, where are they? Do they exist? and if yes how can we find advanced aliens species? 

In 1964, a Russian astrophysicist Nikolai Kardashev introduce the hypothetical scale which is used to measure the existence of extraterrestrial advance species depends upon the amount of energy they consume. This can be done by The Kardashev Scale. The scale has 3 types and many other extended versions depend upon the amount of energy civilization consume. The sale is logarithmic. 

Type 1: This is also called Planetary civilization which is similar to our earth civilization. In this civilization, the amount of energy is consumed from the host star which in our case is the Sun.  The amount of energy is consumed and store for the various purposes The energy we can consume from our sun is 7 * 10 to the power of 17 Watts which is enormous energy. But human species do not fit exactly in the type 1 civilization. Yes, we consider us in the Type 0 civilization. So, how we fall into the category of type 0.

In the Kardashev scale formula, K=Log to the base 10*P-6/10 where K is the hypothetical civilization Kardashev rating and P  represents the amount of energy civilization consume. In 2015 it is estimated that the amount of energy consumed by us 17.35 Terawatts. If we put this value in P then the result is  Type 0.72. According to famous Astronomer Michio Kaku we humans attain type 1 civilization in next 200 years. In type 1 civilization we have total control of our own planet. We can also make some geological changes.Human beings can also control natural disasters.But this civilization is nothing in comparison to next civilization.

Type 2:  This civilization is also known as Stellar civilization. In this civilization, we can not only harness the energy of our host star but an entire solar system. According to Michio Kaku, we can attain this civilization in next thousand years. One hypothetical device which is used to control the entire energy of our sun is Dyson Sphere. The name was coined by American theoretical physicist and mathematician Freeman Dyson. It is the system of orbiting of solar power satellite. In this civilization not only we control the energy of our host star by the hypothetical device but we can also control each and every planet in our solar system. But this civilization is a baby in comparison to type 3.

DYSON SPHERE

Type 3: This civilization is also known as Galactic Civilization. This is the most advanced civilization. According to Michio Kaku, we can attain this civilization in next 1 million years. This civilization harness the total energy of entire galaxy and the amount of energy is enormous. In this civilization, it not only consume energy from one star but billions of stars. Quasars and black holes are also the sources of tremendous energy. We can also colonize other planets. If we consume this amount of energy the hypothetical galaxy not even noticeable. If we harness the total energy the observer sees emptiness or they feel there is hole in center of galaxy

There is an empty space in our observable universe which is 3 billion light-years far from Earth. This empty region is called Supervoid. The 'supervoid', which is 1.8 billion light-years across, is the largest known structure ever discovered. Astronomers have discovered an empty section of space which is missing around 10,000 galaxies. We may consider the existence of hypothetical advanced alien species near Supervoid. There many more things to discover as our universe have abundant mysteries.
